PF withdrawal process

Hi all, recently i have went through the options for withdrawing my PF amount from my previous employer account. Since the request to process my PF transfer through my present employer is done submitted to PF office and there is no sign of PF amount getting transferred and its years now and through my previous employers is also not working. Then i went through the new new option OTCP which is new initiative by EPFO. where one can initiate PF transfer process from previous account to present account provided both the present and previous employer should have registered digital signature with EPFO. Since by previous employer is not registered i cant avail this option too and the next option i tried is attestation by bank manager where one hold the SB account.

so i have decided to write it down my understanding about the process here which may help others save their valuable time.

Employees have 3 options available.

1.Transfer PF from old account to present through present employer.
               2.Withdraw through past employer
               3.Withdraw through Bank Manager

1.Transfer PF from old account to present through present employer.
  • Go to www.epfindiagov.in
  • Go to OTCP (online transfer claim portal).
  • Complete member registration.
  • Check for eligibility.
  • Fill up the claim form.
  • Get it verified through one of the employer online
  • EPFO will then process the transfer.
  • incase if your not eligible completed the process offline.
  • submit to present employer.
  • Employer will get it processed.

2.Withdraw through past employer

  • Fill up form 19 & form 10c.
  • Submit it to previous employer
  • Employer will get it processed.

3.Withdraw through bank

  • Fill up form 19 & form 10c.
  • Get it attested by Bank manager where you hold SB account.
  • Submit it to EPFO where the PF account is managed.
